Some new ERP Blogs


Here are a couple of new blogs I ran into recently. The first is called SaaS ERP and it’s a nice ERP site. The second is called Paperless Manufacturing Systems and it’s obviously probably only worth checking out if your interested in reporting systems for manufacturing and industrial solution. Both of these blogs are worth checking out if you have the time.

SFR ERP Software

ERP Software. Browser based cloud technology.

The first one is called SaaS ERP. SaaS stands for Software as a service and basically it means that you pay as you go instead of paying your software fee all at once. Most SaaS systems bill their customers monthly and it can be a nice way to get the power of an ERP system without all the upfront expense. On the downside most of the companies that profess to have an SaaS erp solution come up short when it comes to functionality that can truly be adapted to a wide variety of business segments. So it definitely pays to do your homework.

The second site is called PaperlessMfg and I think they are doing a nice job. The blog is relatively new but the articles are well written and it reminds me of some of the stuff that I’ve researched. They offer articles and reviews of manufacturing technology and hardware systems as well as software solutions. The have reviews of canned software systems as well as tailored systems and they seem to be pretty thorough.
